Sequoia Hall She is a junior at Harrisonburg High School. Sequoia is in the dance program as HHS and enjoys creating visual art. She will be leading a basic sketching workshop at the Festival.
Elaina Jones They are a Harrisonburg High School student who participates in band, dance, and the musicals. They have been making bracelets for about four years and will be co-teaching a friendship bracelet workshop with Cindy Liu. Cindy Liu She strives to be a leader through musicianship. Cindy was the drum major of the Harrisonburg High School Marching Blue Streak Band for the past two years, president of the National Honors Society, and the president of the HHS Tri-M chapter. At HHS, she is an avid member of the marching band, pit orchestra, and Symphonic Band. As an oboist, Cindy has held top chairs in the All-Virginia Orchestra and Honor Band of America, been invited on NPR's Daily Joy as a From The Top Finalist, and played with ensembles like the United States "Pershing's Own" Army Orchestra. In the future, Cindy plans to go to a four-year university to major in chemistry, while continuing to play her instrument. She will be co-teaching a friendship bracelet workshop with Elaina Jones. Izzy Matter She is a junior in the visual art strand of the Fine Arts Academy. Izzy joined her sophomore year. She has taken Art 1 and Art 2. This year, Izzy Matter worked on costumes for the HHS musical, Cats. Although she isn't heavily involved in the arts, she enjoys painting and drawing. Izzy will be leading a finger painting workshop.
Rose Trainum She is a Harrisonburg High School graduate. Rose was in the Fine Arts Academy in the visual arts strand. She currently attends Blue Ridge Community College with plans to transfer to JMU in the fall for studio art. Her goal is to be a full-time artist. Rose currently participates in group and solo shows where she sells her art! Rose Trainum plans to start up an online shop in the near future as well. Her main medias currently are colored pencil, gouache paint, and acrylic paint.
