Alice McNett is a musician. Although she has studied piano, clarinet, and voice, her primary instrument is the oboe. She is Drum Major of the Harrisonburg High School Marching Band. She has been actively involved in a variety of other extracurriculars as well including Key Club President, musical, Tri-M, United Sound, and the Youth Orchestras of Central Virginia. Alice has had the opportunity to explore music composition in the instrumental music strand of the Fine Arts Academy. She plans to study music and mathematics at college and pursue a career in higher education.
