New York City Trip

To kick off our senior year in the Fine Arts Academy, we took a class trip to New York City! On the train, we had meetings to brainstorm for our capstone. We explored the city, visiting Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, The 9/11 Memorial, Ellen’s Stardust Diner, and more. We took dance classes at Ailey Studios, Steps on Broadway, and Broadway Dance Center. We got to see lots of Broadway shows, including Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, ​Aladdin, and Come From Away, where we got a backstage tour! Most of all, though, we had the amazing opportunity to bond. The eight of us came away from the trip closer than ever and feeling incredibly inspired to begin working on our Capstone!
